Every aspect of big game hunting terrain is available at the Wammen Ranch. Pine forests, hills, draws, meadows, hay fields and rolling prairies will challenge the most seasoned hunter. You can enjoy the solitude of a tree stand or hang out behind several different blind sets. Even better, feel the hair stand on the back of your neck while engaging in the thrill of a sneak.
For our trophy game hunters, we have over 20,000 acres of privately-owned ground with no public access allowed within these borders. This will insure the hunter of a private hunt with no outside interruptions.
For the bird enthusiast several different types of terrain are utilized. Food plots, hay fields, corn strips, medows and creek bottoms are available to test even the best shooter! A trap shooting range is on-site to brush up or show off your skill! Bring your own dogs -- kennels are available -- or come and meet Gus and Kasey, a father/daughter dog team who will be happy to help bring home the birds!
JB Outfitters hunts include whitetail deer, mule deer, antelope, turkey, prairie dogs, pheasants, Hungarian partridge, Chukkar, quail and Sharptail grouse. You may also see coyote, fox, turkey and an occasional bobcat. JB Outfitters has it all!
