Owner and outfitter, Jim Call of Call of the Wild Outfitters is a native Kansan and an avid hunter who feels blessed to live in a State that provides abundant wildlife to him and his fellow sportsmen.
Through game management, conservation reserve program (CRP), food sources, habitat and restricted permits and less population, Kansas has grown into one of the premier places in North America to harvest trophy whitetail. Kansas is undisputed in its ranking and it’s no wonder with all the wildlife Kansas has to offer that just about every hunting show on TV is about Kansas.
We work year round managing and overseeing a vast area of private ground, building habitat and food sources and digging waterholes. We believe Quality Game Management is the key to future trophy hunting in our State.
We do not over-harvest our deer population. We try to keep our deer ratio one-to-one or one-to-two throughout our area. Every year we have trophy deer harvested and will continue to manage the deer herd the same way.
We offer all types of hunts: Trophy whitetail, upland game, waterfowl, Rio, Merriam and Eastern turkeys and predator hunts. We accommodate muzzleloader, archery and rifle hunters. All hunts are conducted on private property.

Located in the far Northern reaches of Iowa's famous Loess Hills, Hole N' The Wall Lodge provides a beautiful setting that is the perfect blend of Iowa farm ground and upland game birds preferred hills. This setting may be the perfect habitat for the wild Ring Neck Pheasant in North America. The wild bird season starts from the last week in October through almost the second week in January according to Iowa DNR regulations.
Our lodge is comprised of two main areas, the main lodge and the West Wing. We are security monitored inside and outside with surveillance equipment for our protection and yours. The main lodge is a 3-story "built to look old, state of the art high-tech facility". It is smoke-free and handicap accessible. The West Wing is a smoke-free, 3-story, 4 bedroom house with 2800 sq. ft. The lodge features 3 king beds and 1 queen loft area. All guest rooms have private baths, plasma televisions with Dish Network, phones, alarm clock, high-speed Internet, full kitchen, laundry center, central heat and air conditioning.

PRESERVE HUNTING
The Loess Hills Preserve is a hunting preserve expanding over 900 acres of the beautiful Loess Hills of Northwest Iowa. This secluded preserve offers some of the finest pheasant hunting within a natural wildlife habitat.

Hunter's Hole is a Nebraska Hunting Outfitter situated in the small rural village of Lewiston, Nebraska; which is located about 15 miles east of Beatrice, and is about an hour from Lincoln, Ne., and two hours from Omaha, Ne., Airports. Lewiston lies in the midst of some of the best Nebraska pheasant, deer and turkey hunting in southeastern Nebraska.
Lodging is currently offered in a recently remodeled three bedroom, two bath, 1900 square foot house that is located on a half acre, and includes a two-car garage, fenced enclosure and amble yard to house and contain hunting dogs.
Hunter’s Hole allows a maximum of four hunters within the house. Additional lodging for 2 to 4 hunters is also available. The majority of Hunter's Hole property lies within a 3-mile radius of their headquarters. Some of the actual hunting land is within easy walking distance of the lodge.
Standard hunt packages range from 5-night/4-day to 3-night/2-day hunts with meals and lodging included. Custom hunts are available at client's request. Day hunts for pheasant, quail, and white-tailed deer without lodging are available upon request.
Hunter's Hole: Trophy Room
Due to being a newly established outfitting business, flexibility and custom hunts are often available. Upland game season generally opens the last Saturday in October. Bow season for white-tailed deer normally opens in mid-September with peak rutting activity occurring from mid-October to mid-November. The rifle deer season opens in mid-November. Statewide buck and antlerless deer permits are available. Black Powder and Muzzleloader deer hunting opens around December 1 and runs the entire month, providing non-residents an opportunity to hunt deer during the late season.

JB Outfitters hunts include whitetail deer, mule deer, antelope, turkey, prairie dogs, pheasants, Hungarian partridge, Chukkar, quail and Sharptail grouse. You may also see coyote, fox, turkey and an occasional bobcat. JB Outfitters has it all!

The State of Iowa is on a draw system for tags. The application deadlines are normally scheduled in June but sometimes change from year to year. Please contact us for application deadlines. Application assistance is available upon request. Missouri tags are bought over-the-counter once you arrive.
We also offer World Class turkey hunts. We offer a few different styles of hunts, which range in price and amenities. Predator and bird hunts are also available.
