I hear ya TXB I hate heat & humidity we just have had a ton of snow this winter & it not going anywhere yet. I'm busy calving...had 8 yesterday!!!! I quickly run out of barn space as I keep bringing in new cow/calf pairs because its little too cool these last couple nights temp average this time of year would be fine......we are -10 below usual....just a cold snap. next 4 nights they are talkin in the -30's with the wind-chill. so I have to keep up around clock to check if anything calves outside.....ears will freeze & worse if the cows drops calf off straw pack or lose housing shed.

They are sure some cute critters when they're little, but I was wondering what in the world happens when they start dropping those little ones in the weather you're having. Will say a prayer or two that everything goes well for ya over the next few weeks!

I'm hoping Monty is doing okay up at his place. He hasn't even logged on since March 27th and I guess maybe he's still up at bear camp right now.

I would expect that since they have so dam much snow so late yet in the spring, he is in camp and not leaving till weeks end. I think it closes this weekend.

Here's another one on the same route and there are two rock slides that are going to cost close to a million bucks to remove and rebuild the road in those areas.

spring season ended 5/31 here - but I didn't have a tag, so I didn't hunt this spring all the pics of bears down made me wish I had, tho I'll be out there after them as soon as possible - fall season opens Aug 1 we've got lots of bruins, for sure!

I certainly am!!!!!!!!!! One bad now is that if they get all that rain, the bugs will be horrid. Be in camp the 10th of Sept. til the 18th. My outfitter has been sending me pic's several times a week from his cam's. He's got some descent bears showing up and multiples on alot of bait sites.

Gonna see what I see. I talked to him last night and he said he has several of the baits we will be hunitng having some good bears on them this yr. Alot of ther pic's I have seen so far have been avg'ing about 200. Tha tarea hahs bears that will go well over 250 so.......................just have to wait and see. Alot of the baits have also had mulitple bears coming to them. Just gonna sit back and watch. They will also be videoing my hunt up there this yr for the website. No pressure at all. Just cause the whole free hunting world could see me screw up. LMAO!!!!!!!
