Good deal Monty, good luck. Hey did you ever get the breech plug wrench for the smokepole? Have you tried it out yet?

Should be out today or soon. That's right I gotta check before I go to bed. Also Monty don't forget you have to buy your cat tag before Aug. 31 or you have to buy it at the FWP building 5 days in advance.

Elk tags are out. Got my second choice. Archery tag in the same area as I shot my bull last year. Antelope draw is incomplete.

I didn't do too bad. Got my second choice archery elk tag, and my first choice antelope tag. Elk tag is for the area about 10 min. from my house and goat is near Hardin about 45 min. away. I decided to try a new area for goat this year. Blue tounge hit my old area pretty hard couple years ago and #s are way low. Only thing left is to get a cat tag.

My buddy in Gillette also struck out on antelope in Montana and he was happy he did. He had already drawn a good deer tag for northern Arizona, as well as bull and cow tags and a deer tag in another hard to draw area that is limited quota in Wyoming. He would probably have had to eaten that goat tag if he had drawn it! He is the luckiest SOB at drawing tags that I have ever seen. He's the guy I went with to Idaho in 2007 on that once in a lifetime Shiras Moose hunt. There was one nonresident tag for the unit and he drew it the first time he applied!!!
