one less bird in Ohio

Hi guys, I got a turkey with my bow the other day. The weather here in Ohio has not been the greatest the first week of turkey season. Rain and wind everyday.

Good job!  Our weather has sucked the first week too and my attorney friend had court cases the one day last week that was huntable.  Yesterday was actually the best day since it opened last Monday, but Pete must have had Easter stuff going on with all his kids as I didn't get a call to go out.  I hope I can get out this week and help him before heading over to Battle Creek this weekend to mentor kids at Fort Custer for our NWTF Chapter.  It's not looking good though, as the 10 day forecast is for a 40% chance or better of rain and/or thunderstorms darn near every day.  My tag for May will probably be the one to have this year with the entire month of April being so lousy up here!  It has to improve sometime doesn't it, LOL!!!

Congrats on a nice bird Car. The weather has pretty crappy here too. I was planning on going bear hunting today but there is still alot of snow on the mountain and it is pretty windy.

Bear hunting!! Oh man I can see the carrot hanging in front of me now lol. Love bear hunting. I do know what you mean about snow in the mountains. Good luck and if you get a bear post some pictures.

Got another one today. It's been real hard finding another bird. Glad I'm done.

Congrats on the 2nd bird Car. No bears yet. Went out the other day. Great weather, the fishing was good but no bear. Just as well. The more I looked at that 1/2 mile high hill the more I really didn't want to see one on top of it.
