We have plenty of mule deer here in SD. The very first deer I ever got was a mule deer doe. She sure was pretty. My dad never took me deer hunting when I was younger so I am only now going into my 3rd year of deer hunting. But now I have bragging rights over my dad and my brothers because none of them ever got a mule deer. I am addicted to hunting for the rest of my life

I also never got to hunt as a child I was a fishing crazy kid raised on the ocean. Now, I hunt with my father and brothers. It is awesome, I made them move to Colorado right after I did and they love it. I take my children hunting with me and they can not wait until they can hunt when they reach the age of 12. I think every child should be taken hunting and fishing. If they love it great and if they don't they will just give'em time.
Thank God for this wonderful life and the men and women protecting it for us. You are ALL Heroes!!

Never did get the chance for a mulie,... they don't wander this far east. Been playin' the whitetail game for some 40 years now,.. and still enjoy it. Mulies are on my short list,.. as is moose, & prongs. I also want to add the big 4 in sheep as they are on my LONG list due to the time & $$ it will take to complete. So many things to do,...
