Take a kid "shootin" carp

I found that taking my stepson shootin carp (that's what we always called it) was a perfect way to get him more interested in archery and bowhunting. It's inexpensive and I'm pretty sure everyone knows a sloppy old mudhole full of carp, gar or some kind of rough fish to go shoot. It's actually pretty good real life practice for those of us that practice shooting at paper in the off seasons too.

I've never done it but I am sure it would be a blast. Anyone ever do it in MI?
