first day out

Well guys the season opened yesterday here in NC.
 
Made it out in the morning. A half hour later than I wanted to, but that's because my son was up half the night being sick.
Made it to my stand at about 6:30. Spooked one deer on my way in, but don't think it saw me. Got all situated and about 15 mins later I had two does walk by at 10yds. Had to let them walk (first morning ya know) About 15mins later had a fawn (still had spots) walk right under my stand (let her walk too).
Then at 7:30 saw two more does walking 50yds from me.
Things then strated to get real slow. Finally made it out of the woods around 11am (it was way to hot 87 deg)
Tried to make it back out for the evening hunt but ended up taking the kids to the county fair.
 
Not a bad start to the first day. At least I saw deer. Trail cam still hasn't picked up anything worth posting.
