Terry---I thought after reading your other post that maybe I should tell you how the PP system works in Wyoming. Even Eastmans Magazine stated that it is a confusing system. You are correct about general tags in your last post. If you click on the elk application section of the booklet on the G&F website and go down through the state units you will notice that there are a lot of them where the general tag is indicated, including the two you mentioned. The area we hunt mulies in is a limited quota unit for elk and the draw odds are very low.

Mike,... I'd be VERY happy just to get drawn!!  Everything after that point I'll take as it comes,... wherever Dean decides is the best area to hunt that's where I'll be going!  What areas do you hunt prongs in ??

Alright,... I put in for the draw again here in Michigan for elk. I have accumulated 5 points going into this years drawing. (one for every year since they started the point system) We'll see what happens.

I will be going to Colorado next year to hunt with my dad. It has been a few years that I have been able to hunt Elk in Colorado. I have taken one bull elk so far. Roger

This satrday is bow opener for elk and deer here in Mt..Been shooting my bow and getting ready.I saw a small bull the other nite.

Went out satarday morning saw afew mule deer and one mountain goat.But I was hunting elk didn't see any ho well it's fun getting out.Maybe next weekend will be better.
