I've never used the WB because i don't like an arrow rest that contacts the arrow, i use drop away rests. I've used the Muzzy Zero Affect, Trophy Ridge, Trophy Taker & a few others, never had any problems.

padeciechi: Welcome to our site! Whisker Biscuits are fine as long as you avoid torquing your bow wrist during the shot. If you torque your wrist or move your wrist in any way it will affect your accuracy. Why? Because the arrow has to travel through the Whisker Biscuit for its entire length before it leaves the bow and any movement of your wrist during the shot will cause the arrow to flex more than it should, which will cause accuracy problems. If you can't avoid this you should go with a high quality drop away rest. That way the arrow will leave the bow clean. Take care and Good Hunting! Best Afield, Steve

Up until this past season I too used a WB rest. I never had any problems with it, other than I found it robbed me of approx 5 fps, which meant I was losing valuable KE from my bow. I have since switched to a dropaway rest. I used the QAD rest this past season, but will be switching to the Topgun Prowler for my hunting set up and a Hornet rest for my tournament bow. All are good rests, and will help to improve your accurracy and increase your available KE. good luck

love my WB and would be hard pressed to change. if I lose a couple feet per second, so be it. how much speed do you need? used to shoot aluminums from a mcpherson bow and dropped a lot of deer with it. as far as KE, again, how much do we need? had pass thru on both deer and a bear last year. and I have no problems with accuracy since I paper tuned my bow. shooting 10's from 30 yards, which I have to put my glasses on to see that far, with hellrazors, magnus stinger 4 blades, and NAP expandables.
when out bear hunting, make sure you are at least faster than the slowest person in your party!!!

I had one put on my new bow a couple of years ago.I've not notice any difference in the bow accurancy.Shot just like when I had tm hunter rest.My cousin been using one since they came out and has shoot several deer since.I like it because the arrow doesn't fall out,no matter what angle you are shooting at.I have shot out to 50 yrds and have good grouping with the rest.

I LOVE the WB,.. on my second one. I didn't have to replace the 1st one for any negative reasons, it's just due to me switching from aluminum shafts to the thinner carbon shafts. After I purchased the carbon shaft model I noticed that they had made some improvements over the original model in the bristles of the biscuit. I like not having to wrap my index finger over the arrow while its resting on the arrow rest while doing a stalk through the woods. The arrow is totally self contained and now that I'm using the 2 1/2" Blazer plastic vanes I'm not experiencing the fletching drag like I was with feather fletchings.

I like the whisker biscuit...still use one on my 2nd bow. The 3 pronged bodoodle & tiger tuff are poplar & also hold the arrow securely but has less drag then the WB.

I'm a WB fan, I try to KISS... I figure if our fore fathers killed effectively with really just a piece of a stick and a string I can too. I like the WB cause I know the arrow is not falling off and as far as torque I'm not really concerned with it cause I've never really experienced it. JMHO

I shoot a WB mainly because I still shoot with my fingers and it is about, and the best out there. If you shoot a release, I would say there may be better out there. I do use the quick biscut and like that it holds the arrow in place.

would the wb be the best option for stalking or is there a alternitive option, i introduced two new people to the outdoors this year so far thru turkey hunting, im a firm believer that that is a important part of preserving the tradition

I would say that as long as you use the WG with the cut out that it would work for that type of hunting. I am glad thaqt you have introduced some new hunters. Turkey hunting is probably better than deer hunting. Turkey hunting has more movement and you actually can hear the birds. If it were not for the fact that my family loves deer meat and I get more meat from a deer, I would like turkey hunting more. Just remember that it is sometimes easier to carry the arrow in one hand and then loading it when close to the game.
Good luck and be safe. NAHC Life Member NWTF Member

I am a fan of the WB I think that there are better rest out there. I feel that if it is not broke don't fix it. I am very happy with my setup and it is working great.

said it many times. love the WB. am sure there are arguements against it, but not sure what you could use to keep that arrow in place if not the WB. have heard how great the drop aways are, but just like people don't trust mechanical broadheads, why would you trust a mechanical rest? just my opinion.

Well I wouldn't say they are not trust worthy, I try to stay open minded. I am of the mind that no matter what you have there is something better. Honestly there has to come a time when you just have to quit chasing the dream for a while. The bigger and better is never going to be that great if you don't keep it long enough to get good with it. I use a WB and I actually love it I have shot it and shot it to become proficient with it, it really boils down to so many different variables to why to use different rests. Terrain to hunt level of experience stand location personal preference and on and on So for the how to keep the arrow in place drop away rest have come light years for the first ones. They are not a bad choice just not mine.
