These pic's were sent to me from my outfitter friend up in Maine. I have seen them in many colors but never white.

Usually white phase Black Bears are only found on an island on the west coast of Canada, they are called Kermode or Spirit Bears bears I believe. About 10 percent of the population of these bears are white the rest are normally black. Something rare to see in any event.
The freshest tracks still have feet in them.

check out the "Kermode" black bears on  BC coast.
