Tiffany Lakosky Bugs Me!

I just got done watching "Tiff" on The Outdoor Channel.  Her and her hubby Lee were GRIPING about getting to hunt for 55 days in a row, and how cold it was and how tired they were after Lee just knocked down another big buck.  Can you believe that?  Griping about GETTING to hunt for 55 straight days.  Who wouldn't love to have the freedom to do that? 
 
She also said that people often say, "It's easy to kill big bucks when you hunt on your own farm".  To which she said something to the effect that "Killing big bucks isn't easy even when hunting on your own farm."  Well, I'm sorry, but if you, me or anyone else on this forum were to have 55 straight days to hunt in a big buck area, such as the one they hunt in Iowa, I'm pretty darn certain that we all would be killing big bucks too!!
 
I can't stand it when "pros" gripe about getting to do something that ALL OF US would love to be doing for a living!
 
Sorry... Just had to vent a little.
 
 

Yeah it is like any other job after awhile people forget how lucky they are to have such a great jobs.

I'm sorry, the woman irritates me to no end, and I don't see what the big deal is about her.  She's just another blond.  They're a dime a dozen in Florida or California.  No offense to any intelligent, non-whining blond-haired women out there.

blonde walks into a body shop and asks the manager if there is an easy way to get all the little dents out of her car from the hail storm.  manager tells her what to do and she leaves.
 
she gets home, pulls the car into the garage and closes the door.  about 20 minutes later, her roommate, another blonde, opens the door, sees her roommate on her knees at the back of the car with her lips wrapped around the tailpipe blowing like crazy. 
 
2nd blonde - what are you doing?
 
1st blonde - trying to get the dents out of my car.  the guy at the body shop told me to do this.  close the doors and blow on the tailpipe.
 
2nd blonde - DUH!!!  you have to close the windows first!

when out bear hunting, make sure you are at least faster than the slowest person in your party!!!

Like I said before I don't think that there are to many people on this forum that wouldn't trade even Tiff job for job.  That is the bottom line, now it would be really funny watching her try to do my job.

I just saw that episode myself and I have to agree that whining because "you're cold" and lamenting to the world that hunting for 55 days straight "is hard" when that is your job is pretty lame. 
 
I wonder how she would feel about working in a -20 degree freezer for hours on end, day after day after freaking' day for two straight years, like I used to endure when I was working for a frozen pizza company?  You want to talk about cold and tired!!  I have a few horror stories to tell, but I won't bore you all by whining about it here.  Oops... I think I just did.  My bad!

I think it points toward the truth of a statement I once heard about turning a hobby into a business - it can ruin a good hobby!

what if there was a "pool" of hunters to choose from and each hunter got to hunt for fourteen days. that way no one hunter would become too tired or bored. I would sign up in a new york minute for that OUTDOOR CHANNEL reality tv hunter program!! Maybe they could even team you up with a "pro" and run it as a pro/am hunt? Which one of you guys want to hunt with Tiff?

I would drink out of her boots , I love  their show.  She is just the typical Blondie, luckily she has a good husband that has paved a way for her to do about what ever she wants.

Well i think it's one of the best shows on the Outdoor Channel. They're being themselves & not trying to be "mechanical" like Craig Bodington or Jimmy Houston. Granted Tiffany is a bit "air-headed" at times but she still makes the shot when it counts. She's put down some big deer in the last few years where a lot of hunters might of gotten a severe case of Buck Fever!!

Buck fever??  Although I respect your opinion I can't see how she could get buck fever from deer that they practically raise from fawns on their farm.  They plant food plots for them, take pictures of them with trail cameras, nickname them and then when "they're finally big enough, anter-wise" they shoot them.  I would think that would be as much fun as taking out our pet dog on a "bow hunt" and "laying the smack down" on Old Yeller.

Enough about Tiffany already.  If you don't like her or the show, simply turn the channel.  We're all hunters here.
