Well i guess we can agree to disagree. I really don't think these are pinned up deer & i myself let the deer mature on my lease & i try to harvest the biggest & most mature buck as well. I don't "grow them" but i do let them mature. I'll stand by my statement & say it's one of the most refreshing shows on hunting. I'm ok with my views just as i'm sure you're ok with yours.

Orion buddy it will be ok buddy, I am sorry the you got upset.  I was just having a little fun as were the others.  They do put a lot of work in their farm and if you have ever tried managing deer it is not even in the realm of being easy.  I hope that you can see the work that they do from a deer management point of view.  It is no that they are shooting pen raised deer.

No hard feeling and I hope that you are OK.

badandy970 -

here's the thing, I am not agry in the least bit.  My point is this I have been going to work for 25 + years sometimes 5,6 and 7 days a week for 10 to 15 hour shifts and there were plenty of times that i got tired, cold, and hungry but not once did anyone ever hear me complain about it let alone hundreds of thousands of people on national television.  To me complaining about your toes being cold from sitting in a tree stand and making it seem like hunting for 55 straight days is some big accomplishment when you are being paid to hunt for a living is completely lame and pathetic.  i'm sorry but that's the way I feel about it.

7 mag -

i suppose if you call Tiffany wearing 3d glasses and shooting a 3d deer target in the hind quarters and then having Lee comment that, "I told you wearing those glasses wouldn't help your 3d" or having Tiffany comment about Britney Spears "having another baby" while promoting the latest bad boy buggy commercial refreshing, i guess we will just have to agree to disagree.

Now if they would humble themselves a little bit and talk a LOT less and have a LOT less "face in the camera time, look at ME, ME, ME" and show more actual hunting tactics and how they were able to get those big deer in front of them maybe I would start to change my mind.  however, I suppose we'll have to continue to endure more of the "bigger bucks, healthier deer" rants, comments and the complaining about hunting for a living boo hoos, or maybe I will take steve's advice and just turn the channel.

That's really all I have to say about it.  I hope you guys have an awesome season this year.

Orion, my goal isn't to get you to change your way of thinking, we all have our opinions. I actually agree with you about her complaining about the cold. But, i like the show because it's different than the other 30 hunting shows & they do harvest some spectacular bucks. I like how they manage their property & invite others to come & share a hunting experience. I sure would like the opportunity to hunt with them.

I feel like 7Mag also, a man can only watch the same stupid people hunt most of the shows are all the same.  Mostly it is the comedy and just the different show that makes me like it.  I got in the same debate about the show, the Flyway Highway.    I would love to hunt 55 days straight too, but I guess I have to watch Lee & Tiff do it for now.

I've been gone for a week turkey hunting and I get back to read another thread on you not liking my sweetie, LOL!!!  It's sure funny that for not liking her that you seem to watch every episode and commercial.   Like was said; if you don't like her just change the channel.  That's the great thing about living in this country.  We have a choice and to each his own!  I've watched that Flyway Highway show a couple times and can't stand the main guy, so I quit watching it.  It's really that simple!

There aren't too many of the shows that I don't like and I get them on three different channels.  However, since the one changed it's name to Versus there hasn't been much hunting on it, at least at times when I have tuned it in.  I love the Primos shows, as well as the Mossy Oak guys and anything with Michael Waddell because they are all down to earth good ole boys.   I also like Jim Shockey, especially when his Dad is on it and the Eastman show that should have a better time slot than so late at night!  As far as bow hunting, I would probably pick the Easton show over Tiffany because Fred uses the more primitive weapons and goes all over the globe to take just about every big game animal with it.  Sorry Tiffany!!!  It's amazing to watch him stalk and shoot sheep, grizzlies, etc. without  using all the modern tech stuff.  I think Fred might be the "real deal" of all the hunters I watch every week.

Yeah there is the sportsman channel but I can't get it yet, and versus is a bunch of BS I hate it when the have bicycling and that kind of crap, and especially the infomercials.

I could see how it could get boring when all you do is feed and grow deer in your back yard and dont have to go into the woods and look for deer and hike around a bit.
I can see if you make it so easy it would get boring and the complaining about being cold and tired, well i guess your sponsors need to step up your gear or you need to step up what you are wearing since if you get cold it is on you. Being tired of hunt well all i have to say about that is go find a new job. I am tired after being out in the woods all day but a good tired. I have friends who were wounded who would kill for the chance to be able to wonder around the woods.
Some of the shows I see are a waste of air time and should not have a tv show. they don't know how good they have it and should not take it for granted.
If these pros actually had to use some skill and TRACK AND LOOK for big game they would see what the common man has to do for his dinner table.
