Diamonds Iceman spilt limb design is not the diamond standard of quality! Bass Pro has had more than one of these bows brought back because the limbs flex and makes it easy for the string to fall off the cam which is exactly what happened here.
p.s. This is not me...I shoot Hoyt! Found this on another forum. Just a heads up for my fellow stick 'n stringers!

WOW!!! I would be a little upset to say the least. The only good thing I can think of is thank god it was a field point. I'm sure there's a lawsuit in the making if not all ready. Once again, WOW!!!!

That will definately leave a mark.....................Left handed shooter I'm guessing and must have been using one heck of an overdraw for the arrow to have gone in where it did.  That is part of why I quit using one once I went to carbons. Too many horror stories.

That's ugly. As Kraig said, the lucky thing is that it was a field point. This is the exact reason I never used an overdraw. Too many bad things can happen to have an arrow behind your hand coming off the string at 300 fps or so.
Good luck, be safe and shoot straight

That looks like that just plain HURT!
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
