Brother just called from the field to report that he just wacked a long beard in New York. Bird flew down and zeroed in on Joes deke. I could still hear the bird flopping when he called. Joe's walking out to the car and it's not even 6 am.
The freshest tracks still have feet in them.

Congrat's to your brother man. Sun must come up early in your part of the world. Here, it's still dark outside at 6am. LOL!!!

EST here birds are on the deck just before 5:30. Gobbling from the roost begins by 4:45 or so, as I do every morning I'll be heading outside my home to play with the birds before I go to work. Any minute now.
