Some backyard visitors - Sunday, June 28, 2009 7:38 PM ( #1 )
Have a family of Red Fox that have a den somewhere behind our house.  They show up every morning between 6-7am.  They romp and play and generally do what young foxes do.  I have seen a large gray that I think may be papa.  I have only ever been able to catch two at a time with my camera.  These three pics were taken last week.

Here is another yearling.  More gray than the others.  Sorry for the focus problem.  I was shooting through the window.

I think this is Mama.  She is obviously larger than the others.

Nice pics, Bowman.  I've been trying to get pics of the fox that lives on my property on my trailcam with no luck.
Just seen him/her this morning when I let my dogs out.  Luckily I saw it first so my older dog didn't head off "for the races!!"

ROFLMAO Shadow!  My dog used to go "Off to the Races" when he saw critters too.  One other good benefit I found is that the fox family has taken care of our feral cat problem.  LOL!

Yep, saw him/her again tonite just as it was getting dark.  Gonna set my trail cam up tomorrow in the same area, 2nd time I've seen him there.   We'll see what happens!!
Oh, yeah, one of my cats (we have 4) is an outdoor one.....so far so good, she still makes it home!!

One fox around is a little different than 6 hanging out in one spot.  LOL.  Hope you get him/her on camera and hope your kitty makes it as well.  I have threatened to pitch one of mine out there cause she has been really annoying and deciding that me and mama had to wake up at 4am!!!  I only get up at 4am for two reasons. 1. Hunting Season
2. Wifey wants to play.  Hehe!

Cats get kicked off the bed at 4am when they wake me up!!!

Guess your cats have learned how to fly!!  My cat got back ok, thanks!

Yep, fox was out tonite just sitting watching the house.  Actually let me walk toward it for several yards before it trotted off.  So maybe I'll get my pic after all since my daughter & I set up the trail cam.  Guess I should keep my other camera nearby as I'm seeing him in the yard so often!! Lol...
