use a keller pendulum sight.  takes all the guesswork out of making shots for those of us that can't judge distances.
when out bear hunting, make sure you are at least faster than the slowest person in your party!!!

I've heard those pendulum sights can be deadly, but I personally would have a hard time trusting them in cold weather, i.e., moving parts.

I use a Spothogg. I love them because you can adjust your pins individualy up,down, left, and right. I have not found any other sights that you can do this with.
Thank God for this wonderful life and the men and women protecting it for us. You are ALL Heroes!!

I like the TruGlo sights.  They are durable and are very bright.

Jim:

"Brighter" is not always better, especially if the pin obscures your vision due to the "halo effect".  The sight I use diffuses or controls the brightness of the pin as dictated by ambient light, so the pin is always at the "correct" brightness level for the available light.  Also, the pins remain extremely bright during those last few minutes of shooting light in the evening and during those first few minutes of first daylight in the morning without the aid of an external sight light.

Take care and Good Hunting!

I still love my cobra sight, 5 fiber optic pins I think that it is about perfect, not to bright and still able to see it in the evening when the sun is getting low.

Now as a hand gun sight I will give it to them they are about one of the best on the market.  I have them on my glock and it is great.

It has never froze up on me, it always performs. I sighted in at 20 yards on the ground and I use one pin out to 30 yards from the ground or tree

That's awesome.  That was my only concern with that type of sight.  I'm glad you are having success and enjoying using your sight!
