After 2.5 weeks, the plots are up and doing good, despite all the rain we had.

It's looking pretty good Gary. Should have some big fat animals before too long.

If you look to the center of the pic, you'll see a clump of trees. The plot actually goes around that clump. My stand is right in the middle tree about 18ft up. Totally surrounded by vegetation. K, ur a funny guy today.......................LMAO

That will be some sweet setup, Gary. Ok, just figured I would show y'all a picture of one of my little plots on the farm. This is some tall, mature oats that is just coming in, but it sure is pretty. As the others come on, I will show some more pix.

k, that's a nice thick green looking patch you got there. Might be a bit hard to see them if it get's any taller though. LOL

Thanks Gary,
it is about 2.5 - 3' tall in that thing! Here is a pic looking from the backside out. The deer sure have liked it this spring.

This is another little patch I planted a couple of weeks ago in Blue Lupine. Supposed to be like "deer candy". Comes up as a perennial with a blue flower on top. Only place I know of that it comes from is Wannamaker Seed Company in Matthews, SC. I believe Luther Wannamaker developed it.

That's a good healthy looking plot. I can never seem to get it up very high though. They eat it as fast as it grows. That is why I have expanded my plots and varied the plants in them so they use diff parts all yr and not graze just in one area.

Well I checked my plots again today and changed out the cards in my cams and I was pleasantly suprised how well my plots are doing. It is just littered with deer tracks now. Here's a few pic's.

Crockett,Tx. My plots in Wis are doing well also according to my folks. They are up at my place this weekend spraying for weeds and unwanted grasses. Got some good pic's of deer on them up there also. I'll post as soon as my mom sends them to me.

I was just wondering because those looked like Wis. trees rather than tx. Guess its been a long time since i've been to Tx.
