Pigs in PA - Thursday, August 14, 2008 8:41 AM ( #1 )
Anyone know where the feral pigs in PA are? I would love to get a crack at one. I live in Erie and I haven't  heard of any around here.
Love hunting, but love your family more.

Well, I can't help you with that one. I wasn't aware there were any in PA.

There are a few running around. Most of which have gotten out of the game ranches up there. Most of them are confined to the central part of the state but I have heard of a few scattered around. Around Tioga is one place to find some. The fish and game wants them all dead as soon as.

There is a good many running down in the Bedford area, I have some buddies that go out there and hunt them with fairly good success.  I, myself just havn't had the chance to go yet.  I will sometime though.

There is no better pork ANYWHERE as far as eating guys. I have not bought store bought pork in I can't remeber when. Way too many around my part of the world. Once you get out and do it, you'll have just that much more time to spend outdoors in the off season.  Good luck y'all.
