Well it is a done deal. The closing was today. We now own a whole 10 acres near Sundance Wyoming. It will be around 3 years before we make the move out. Daughter still has 2 1/2 years of college to go here in Ohio. We have talked about buying land in Wy for 5 years Now it is the real deal! We will build a pole barn first to store things in as the time gets closer. Happy New Year to all. car :)

COOL! WTG, car! Sundance is a reasonable (medium/short) day's drive frum our place ... I'm gonna say about five hours, if we don't stop for more than brief gas/bathroom breaks ... and it's on the way to Devil's Tower and Yellowstone, so we've got reasons/excuses to take that route ... Mebbe sumday, car ... gotta stay in touch, and with Top' to help, it might actually happen that we'll get by there to say hi in person ...

Congrat's car. I know if it were me, I could not wait to get started out there. Heck, I have stayed in worse places than a pole barn for a hunting season. LOL Again congrat's on your closing.

No surprises, it went real well. Better than I thought it would. Now I want the next 3 years to fly by.

It is only 6 miles from I90. That was a big plus to us. It only takes 30 minutes to Spearfish.

Spearfish is growing and is very nice. I stayed there one night before we headed up into ND for our pheasant hunt after leaving Wyoming a couple years ago.

Sounds like the barn is going to have some guest from time to time lol That is how I first ended up hunting in Wy. It was on a swap hunt. Now look at me I'm going to be living their.
