New toy - Monday, September 07, 2009 1:56 PM ( #1 )
Well, sometimes you can 'hide' a toy and sometimes you can't. I have been wanting a 60" pto rotary tiller for the tractor for some time and just went and bought one this weekend. Well, really, traded for it. I own a screen printing and embroidery company and the guy wanted some hats and tee shirts, so...well... needless to say, you just can't hide a plow that is sitting in the back of your pickup. Wife comes out and says a few choice questionable words, which of course I validate with garden tilling, etc, etc. Well, I went straight to the farm and put in a new food plot that was absolutely beautiful. Made my own "wildlife blend" using white ladino clover, purple top turnips, and rape. Still haven't quite got that garden project done yet...
Just waiting on some rain...

Well it sounds like you picked up a pretty cool toy. Good luck with the plot, as it's
not supposed to rain down our way for awhile.

Kent,

Did you ever get the garden done for Momma? I hope that you did and the garden yielded mass quantities of everything that you planted. That way she will continue to let you use it for food plots. The only TRUE reason it was purchased!!! LOL!
Love playing that string music and sending a Muzzy flying!

WEEEELLLLLLLLLL, let's just say that the garden spot next year will look doggone good too. Finally bush hogged this years one the other day and tilled it in. Thank goodness she had forgot all about that little deal...out of sight and out of mind!

LOL!!!
