I will start this one too.  LOL  I am active duty United States Coast Guard, I am and Avionics Electrical Technician.  I am stationed in Clearwater Florida and aircrew the hh-60 Jayhawk.  I am an avid hunter of about everything that flies or runs and even swims.  I Love to just spend time in the woods.

The "Knee-deep Navy".  Welcome badandy.  I was in the US Navy and the US Army for a combined 8 years. Kick myself in the butt for not stating in - I would be retiring next year if I had.

Do any gator hunting?  I was in Palm Bay, FL for 30 days a few years ago and went on my first gator hunt with some guys.  Man what a rush that was.

Welcome to forahunt forum, I'm sure you'll have a few hunting stories to share.

Yeah we try not to get to far from home we have navy wives to take care of.  Or at least that is what we tell navy guys when they got some Smart @ss comments to make.  LOL

No in all honesty I have seen my deployments, when I was in Portsmouth VA I was on a 270' cutter and we did 4 month patrols.  Once you have been gone that long you might as well staty out fir a while longer.  I don't know if you have ever been in the portsmouth, Norfolk area.  There is all 5 branches of the amred forces there.  Way to many miltary people and I would tell them that we take good care of there girls while they are gone for a year or so.  It usually shut them up quick,  I just let it roll but sopme take it to heart and get all ruffled up about it.

It is hard to make the descision whether to stay in or not.
