Hey fellas. My brother and I are going to start hunting coyotes here in WI to try to help out the deer pop. I've never actually HUNTED them before, just shot a few when I was hunting deer and turkeys. What's the best call to use? I have a rabbit squealer but I don't know what else I should have to start. I don't want to buy a ton of crap I don't need. I just want the basics for now. Any input you guys could give me would be great.
Good luck, be safe and shoot straight dodgeman_29

I got a Primros call ($20) that will let me set it up about 50yds from me and has a remote with 8 calls on it. Also on a tight budget, take a fishing reel, old arrow and something looking like a fuzzy thing (I use one of the boys stuffed animals), set it up next to the speaker and tie the line to the arrow, you can move it to get them looking at it, really helps a lot. See if you can pick up road kill and place it in an area where you can glass it and get in range without disturbing yotes eating at it. See if there is a local sporting goods store that has a local (that really helps in learning) guy giving a seminar on yote hunting. Hope this helps.
