NAHC....MulieMadness....FORAHUNT

Every site where we sportsman can share memories, advice and ideas is a good site....Although some sites operate a little smoother than others....I am hopeful that NAHC will solve their system problems and we can continue to travel on all these avenues...I am impressed with this site and am glad to be a part of it....My name is Randy, I live in Hibbing, MN....I have been hunting very close to 50 years now...I lived, fished, trapped and hunted most of my life in Northern WI in Douglas, Washburn, Bayfield and Burnett Counties...exclusively on public lands...I have hunted MN for over 25 years as well as WI with a couple trips to SD Blackhills, one elk/deer combo hunt in MT and last year hunted speedgoats and deer in WY.....This fall I am planning a cow elk/deer/antelope hunt in southern WY.....have drawn the elk tag and will wait out the deer/lope draws....I am a firm believer in fair chase....and safety first....add a little common courtesy and you have the makings for a wonderful experience in the field....
 
I have 4 sons whom have hunted with me since they were old enough to carry in the woods and I now have 7 grandchildren whom of which the two oldest 6 & 8 have accompanied me from time to time for a couple of years now....
 
My bones to pick are "trophy ego hunters", you know the grummpy ones when they don't shoot the big one....Don't get me wrong I have shot some nice deer but have never considered "score" as a measure of a trophy....I remind my sons every once in a while that hunting is an indiviual sport and not a competition.....
