Hello all my name is Gerry McCoige & i live in Northern Indiana. My passion is Western big game hunting along with archery whitetails here in the Midwest. I've been fortunate enough to hunt in several states but my favorite is Montana along the Milk river. I look forward to making a few new friends as well.

when out bear hunting, make sure you are at least faster than the slowest person in your party!!!

Gotta' say this site is lookin' more an more like the NAHC website every day with all of the membership transfering over here. Hey now,.. there's an Idea !
 
Maybe if their board doesn't get any hits for about 6 months maybe they'll take notice of that and replace a few broken things,... yeah, now that's the ticket,  like the entire front office at headquarters !!!

NAHC----What's the NAHC, LOL!!!  Chalk up another one who has come over to the other side!!!  I've been too busy trying to read everything on this BB since joining last week, so I haven't posted anything in this section until now.  This whole website is fantastic and I have a strong feeling that most of my time will be on this site from now on!  I'm retired after 30+ years in law enforcement with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and I also did 3 years in the US Army Veterinary Corp back in the Viet Nam era.  I live in Allegan, MI., which is 30 minutes northwest of Kalamazoo.  I also have a place on 20 acres that is 10 miles southeast of Kalkaska up in Kalkaska County.  That's where I "get away" for some turkey and deer hunting when I'm not hunting down here.  I love going out to Wyoming every year for mule deer, an occasional antelope, and even elk once in a while.  I have a 4 1/2 year old DD pointer and mostly hunt pheasants with him on preserves in Michigan, as well as wild birds in Kansas or North Dakota.   I'm looking forward to being on this site a lot to chat with those who are as passionate about the outdoors as I am!!!

Uh does it count if you're an ex-NAHC member?? I got tired of a lot of things so I didn't renew.. at first I felt kind of guilty but then it wore off.

Same goes for me. I'm an N.A.H.C lifemember since 1992. I find myself here and see that interest is growing. This is a great site. I've already gotten answers to some questions. Some have been kind enough to offer help on a hunt that was falling apart. Thanks to you guys who stepped up to help another hunter.

Welcome to the site. My dealings with the NAHC have been slow to say the least. I paid online to renew my membership and cannot get onto the site , says im expired got two emails into them and no answers. Chalk it up to a donation I guess. I believe you will enjoy this site much more.

Other life menber of nahc here can't post for two weeks over there.I have house in the U.P. of michigan.Been living and working in Bozeman mt. for the last year got a little hunting in last fall love it.

Hey out there, I also am a lifetime NAHC member since 1991.  I really love the club, especially the mag.  I do enjoy the website even though it is a little slow, but the problem I mostly have with the site is how a few of the members  swear and bad mouth a guy when they disagree with what you say.  I find that they are mostly just a couple of them who are old veterans.  If you say something they disagree with watch out because you start getting called names and made fun of.  I actually believe that the couple that are doing it are too low class to have been a part of our U.S. Armed Forces, where there is a certain standard to uphold.  Most likely these few idiots are nothing more then soldier wannabees.  Probably 4F screwup if the truth be know.  They haven't done it to me so much, but a couple of members have really been blasted for stating there opinion.  They only nailed me once a little.  I like how this site has no cussing and mean mouthing on it.  I will be spending some time on here I believe if it keeps staying this enjoyable.  Well God Bless All and Pray for our Country.
