I've been working with mine on sheds, too
she seems to like them, and find them when I plant them
now, I have to try her out in the real woods - I'll wait til Jan, then give it a go!

but first, bird season is almost here - can't wait!!!!

Yah, good lookin' pup, orduck' ... say ... if you can get her strength-level built up, I could borrow her to retrieve my moose ... that way, you could get here to Nodak for some pheasant huntin' ... eh?

WELL, DANG!

I'M REALLY SORRY I MISTOOK A BLACK LAB FOR A DIFFERENT BLACK LAB ... I'm old, y'know ... and tired ... gimme a break!

(I dunno whut I wuz thinkin' ... it wuz a long and difficult weekend, and I have only my creeping senility to offer as an ... um ... whut wuz the question?)

Besides which already ... both orduck' and weyy' are in on the PF raffle tix drawing ... so, it's be REALLY neat-o if BOTH of 'em would win somethin' and then decide to journey to Nodak to pick it up, and chase after their fessunts ... and bring their dogs, of course ... no matter whut color they are ...

Well ... I've put in a good word for the idea bein' really COOL if sumbuddy who's never been to Nodak and/or lives far away would win one of these items ...

Considerin' how much influence that brings to bear, based on my long history of volunteering and participation in preparation werk for the annual banquet ... um ... say, did I mention that you'll prolly have a better chance of gettin' a 24-ounce bottle of soda pop for $1 @ the shop where I werk, than winnin' ...

But ... everybuddy is equal in this deal ... until they start drawin' names out of the bucket ...

hey, a 24 oz bottle of soda pop for $1 is a pretty good deal!

and, if you could guarantee someone a win, I guess things wouldn't be fair and square - would they?
