This is a picture of the Mountain Lion that I called in to 18 yards while hunting in thr Tonto National Forest in AZ. Shot it with a 44mag. I used a fawn in distress call.

Good shootin!! It's tough trying to convince a coyote into pistol range, let alone a cougar. Good job REAS.

Well I have yet to call in a coyote, but I called the Cat in the very first morning. BTW, they are delicious. Great picture huntintoo, I'd like to try it with hounds myself.

Nice kitty!!! I don't know that I will ever get to hunt one but if given the opportunity it would be fun.
Love playing that string music and sending a Muzzy flying!

No, not like chicken, lol...The texture is very much like pork, but the flavor is very mild, and delicious. Hope to get another someday

good job on the cat - I've always wanted to call one in, but think I'll have a buddy with me so we can sit back to back - just in case again, congrats, and thanks for sharing the story and photo

I had my back to a large boulder, & was sitting atop another boulder (about 5ft off the ground) so, surprisingly no, I wasn't scared, but the adrenalin rush was FIERCE to say the least. I must have pumped my arms in the air for 5 minutes, lol......One of the greatest experiences I've ever had hunting.
