Thanks everyone and I will be sure to let you know how things work out. This has been a life long dream so now it up to me to make it happen. I have just recieved my permit in the mail so now it is official so I need to get started doing some long range target shooting. If there is any one out there from the Atlanta Ga. area I am looking for someone that would be interested in doing some long range shooting with me to get ready for the season.

Two things I CAN guarantee you on your hunt:
1---The air will be a lot thinner than Atlanta
2---It will be a lot colder than Atlanta on November 1
Good luck!  You will have a great time if you keep your expectations within reason!  Get in lots of cardivascular work and the sooner the better!

Thanks everyone and I will be sure to take plenty of pictures to share. I just hope in one of the pictures is me with a big ole mulley on the ground. Time is winding down, I fly out on Oct. 31st and hunt Nov 1-5 in Colorado. Went out over the weekend and did some more shooting at 200 and 300 yards and next trip I will be working on 300 and 400 yards. It is very difficult to find a place to shoot at these distances here around Atlanta where I live so I have had to depend on a friend of mine to take me to a place he has permision to go.

Well after 35 years of waiting the time is here. I leave in 3 days for my first mule deer hunt and the hunt that I have always dreamed of. Hopefully I will have some pictures to post by the second week of November.
