Any mule deer hunters on here from Colorado? I hunt the San Juan National Forest and there are some big boys out here, But they are not that big from being dumb! Hard to get in on.

co: I have a big mule deer on my "to-do" list that's for sure. I have always dreamed about chasing mule deer (and elk) across the mountains of Colorado. I would imagine that is quite the experience. If you ever want to team up on a hunt some time shoot me an E mail at: TheExtremeArcher@aol.com Take care and Good Hunting! Best Afield, Steve

7 Mag: Welcome to the site! Mule deer hunting sure has an appeal about it. I just love the mountainous terrain that most mule deer species reside in. There's just something about those mountains that draw me to them, and I find myself suddenly drifting away in my thoughts as I picture them in my mind. I just can't explain it in words. Take care and Good Hunting! Best Afield, Steve

I hope to hunt Mule deer in SD this fall. Have to put in for a tag by July and hope I get drawn. Never shot one so need to do that while I still can.
