Mountain lion confirmed in green county - Thursday, August 19, 2010 8:29 PM ( #1 )
The presence of a mountain lion in green county was confirmed by wildlife biologist Scott johnson of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. The animal exists in a rural area of green county east of Bloomfield.
Johnson verified the presence of the mountain lion after reviewing photographs taken by motion-sensitive game cameras. Additional evidence included the discovery of an eviscerated deer carcass buried under a pile of leaves.
Last year an INDNR biologist investigated and confirmed a mountain lion in clay county, based on evidence submitted by a hunter. Photos of the lion were taken from an elevated deer stand.
The last paragraph leaves me scratching my head it reads.
Reports are increasing of mountain lions migrating east specifically from South Dakota.
Does South Dakota have enough lions to repopulate the eastern U.S. ?

Or maybe it's the same one from N. Central Wi. If it made it from N.D. it could have surely have made it down there. Just ask our DNR.  LOL!!!

Man, that cat must be on a mission to hit all the states. I think it's the same one seen here in Missouri. In for a real challenge getting to Hawaii. LOL
