Mach 3 start to Hunting/Filming Season

Kick the tires and light the fires! Found out that the DZ crew is rolling hard and fast this season. I leave next Tues. for SC for a velvet deer hunt, DZ Block Party with Colt Ford at Jud Kuhn Chevy on the 21st, straight from there to FL for a gator hunt until the 26th, home for 2 days then 15 days in ALASKA for moose, grizzly and Dahl sheep! Will get back on here and post pics as soon as I get home around Sept. 20th. Then I get to stay home for a week or so and then go see Monty for the deer hunt I won last season. Nothing more after Halloween has been assigned yet but I know It is going to be a killer year for the DZ Crew! p.s. Thurs @ 5:30pm EST and Sun. 11:00am you can see the big Saskatchewan deer I filmed last season.
Love playing that string music and sending a Muzzy flying!

Somehow I can't see a Ford and a Chevy getting along too well to start that trip out, LOL! Seriously though, have a good safe trip and say howdy to Monty when you get up there to kill one of his big bucks!!! I hope to get up there myself in the next few years to shoot a buck and/or some birds. That Alaska trip sounds like one heck of a lot of fun, though I'm sure there will be a tremendous amount of work, especially on the Dall Sheep part of the adventure.

Mike, Loved the Ford and Chevy comment! LOVED IT!!!! Had to clean my Mac screen! Alaska has been a dream since I was 10 years old. Now I get to go and watch an incredible hunter take 3 awesome animals is darn close to a dream come true! My guy at the gym has kicked my butt hard over the past few weeks getting me ready. The only thing he cannot train me for is 8,000 - 12,000ft elevation. No way to replicate that here in NC!
Love playing that string music and sending a Muzzy flying!

Gary...I moved to NC from CO. But I have been a flatlander since 1992. Maybe my lungs will remember. I have been doing wind sprints and lots of stair work but I still cannot replicate 12,000ft elevation.

Thanks for the well wishes my friends. The miles on the treadmill with 55lbs on me have prepared my legs and back. Now to make my lungs work at elevation! I will be shooting pics left and right when I can. Cannot wait! Hope to have pics of a moose, grizzly and dall sheep down. I leave Tues for a lowland hunt in SC for a velvet buck, then to FL for gators for a week. I get to come home for two days and then it is off to Alaska. Will post some stuff up as soon as I return. Not sure of what kind of internet I will have in the coming weeks either on my Mac or phone. Take care boys...busy 2 days ahead getting everything ready for the next month. Then a week off and I get to go to Monty's to whack one for myself! Dave

Top, I will watch the show, but you know how it gets edited. All the good stuff goes away and they only show dead animals. LOL!!!!! Dave Good luck man, you'll have a blast. Don't get too burnt out on all that hunting and traveling now. It does get old after doing it for awhile. Safe travels my friend...................
