Long Island NY duck season

I'm on the DEC waterfowl advisory commitee. It's a lot of words that basically mean we help set the waterfowl season for Long Island. We met and gave our recommendations to the DEC. While they are not set in stone they have never not listened to what we say. So it seems the duck season will begin on Thanksgiving of this year and run straight thru till the last sunday in January. I also have the goose dates as well. If anyone is interested let me know...
