Well I finally did it. I shot a 400 + pound bear in northwest Minnesota. Eight o'clock and this big male wanders in to my bait pile then 15 long minutes turns broadside and gives me the perfect 20 yard shot. Both lungs and heart being punctured led to a 8 yard recovery. I got to hear the death moan for the first time, not a real fan of that. The best thing was I got it all on video. Can't wait till the skull is done my taxidermist says it should be close to 20 inches.

Auwsome, Nice bear. The forum is having a good fall season so far. I might have to try a little serious bear hunting this fall.
