I'm back from BC

Hey guys I'm back!
Had a great time, the weather was nice 45s at night 80s during the day.
I saw 30 different bears, 3 moose 2 with calf's and several beavers.
One of the guy that was hunting with me saw 6 grizzly.
I shot a bear on the first day, nothing like waiting a few days lol
The bear I shot was around 6'2". It was a 281 yard shot with my 7mm rem mag.
He only went 10 yards.
Double lung him.
Alot of snow still on the ground.
There was 9 hunters in camp and we all filled our tags with one guy shooting 2 bears. I'll tell more this weekend.

Finally someone broke the bear jinx that was going on around here! Congrats. Nice pix and a beauty of a location!

but, at least it's a long week knowing you've got a bear!

I had a second tag but, didn't see a big enough bear I wanted to shoot. I'll tell you more this weekend.

I hunted with McGregor River Outfitters in BC. Had a great time and as I said in a earlier post I saw 30 black bears in 5 days of hunting. The weather was good, it rained 2 different days with the last day being one of them lasting 3 1/2 hours. Overall I could have ask for a better week of weather.
Our day would start with breakfast at 8:00 am.
We would be to our hunting area by 9:00 or so. We all had sack lunches that was plenty to hold us over until supper time 11:00 pm. Now stop and think about this. I'm from Ohio, 3 hours different in time zone. So if I'm eating supper at 11 to 12 BC time. My body is telling me it is 2 to 3 am lol. Not that I had any problems eating that late lol. The food was very good and the guides were great. It was a well run operation. I would recommend  this bear hunt to anyone. If you are interested in hunting with them pm me and I will tell you more.
