I Love My Job!!!!

Found out today that I get to spend Sept. 6 - Oct. 1 in Canada.  I get to do a moose/whitetail hunt for 10 days in Alberta, then an 8 day whitetail hunt in another part of Alberta and finish the month with a 6 day hunt at Kane Lake in Saskatchewan for Black Bear!  God I Love My Job!!!!  That is just Sept.  There are a lot more hunts to go all the way through Jan. 1!  Also wanna thank Deadeyerik because we will be filming a Mtn. Lion hunt with some buddies of his in Feb.!  Can't wait to meet him and Monty!!!

I think I love your job too. Beats the heck out of going 1 mile underground and watching out for falling rock.

I got my schedule through Dec.  There are multiple hunts they are still trying to get coordinated and I am sure I will get at least 1 of them.  But here is my shot schedule until then:

Aug. 15-21 Low country velvet hunt, Oakland, SC
Sept. 6-16 Moose/whitetail combo, Alberta Canada
Sept. 17-24 Whitetail archery hunt with trophy takers Alberta Canada
Sept. 25- Oct.1 Kane Lake black bear hunt Saskatchewan Canada
Oct. 21-23 Maryland Sika deer hunt
Oct.29-Nov. 6 Martenue river outfitters Saskatchewan Canada
Nov. 13-21 Greenbush outfitters Saskatchewan Canada

6 weeks in Canada, 1 in South Carolina and 1 in Maryland.  This is gonna be a ride and a half!!!

I am kind of envious i want to meet Deadeye and Monty also.

Can't speak to Deadeye, but Monty is one of those who is right up there with your best friends as soon as you meet him---just a great, down-to-earth, good ole boy!!!

I watched a show last night where they were hunting Kane Lake. Lots and lots of bears of all colors and sizes. How's the wife gonna like you being gone for so long at a time? A couple of weeks aint so bad with mine, but after that, it's get ur a$$ home.  LOL!!!!!!!

Both of our jobs a few years ago made us travel quite a bit but nothing like this.  She is excited and happy for me but we will miss each other greatly.  I do not take this lightly and worry about her safety when I am gone.  She is armed and an excellent shot but she is mine and I worry! I will pray for her every night!!!!   Coming home will be fun though...Hehehe!
