Sorry everyone I never introduced myself. I'm from Ct. and have worked as a youth counselor for 19 years and my next 9 years I have been the Theraputic Recreation Director. I also do staff training in crisis intervention, lifeguard, first aid, cpr, group leader, primary counselor, and positve group interaction training to name a few. lol I work in a teenage residential private school for gang kids and trama kids. I do love my work and relieve my stress by riding motorcycles, and my favorite whitetail hunting with a bow. This site is great. I've already met some of you and look forward to sharing ideas and stories about hunting. (Nothing about kids I need a break). Good luck and enjoy life. Jerry

Remember to teach our youth the traditions of hunting and fishing.

g3 (Jerry): Welcome! Thanks for the compliments on the web site and for sharing your thoughts. It takes a special person to do the work that you do, so you should be damn proud of 19 years of service in your field. Very impressive! Once again, welcome and we hope you enjoy your visits! Take care and Good Hunting! Best Afield, Steve

Welcome to the site Jim,... I'm fairly new here myself but I've been a LONG time avid hunting and fishing person. Please ,.. don't be afraid to ask any questions,.. or give your input on a subject. Everyone I've met here seems to be a great bunch of people so take your hat off an' sit a spell. What are your favorite things to hunt or fish, favorite mode / style of hunting or fishing, favorite weapon to hunt with? Just head on down to those respective threads and fill us all in on yourself.

Amazing that you still have your sanity - we are all thankful for people like you that strive to make this a better world through the youth. Hats off to you and your family. So what kind of motorcycle do you ride? Have you seen the new German Technology, PT1 test drive film? Looks like a three wheeler, drives like a motorcycle, covered like a car? If you're interested, I can send you the clip. It is interesting, but I think I'll stick with the open aired motorcycle. I really like mine. Not a lot of power, but gets 75-80 mpg. I am short so need to be able to pick it up if I spill it. See you at the Hawg Hunt....
