Hi folks,
Rob here- I'm from New England & I'm an avid bowhunter. I hunt bear, whitetail, hogs & predators with my bow. I'm married with two children- both boys & they are both already shooting bows! My oldest is on his second bow- A Genesis that he started shooting last year.
Take care,
Rob

GrayDawg (Rob): Welcome to our Talk Forums! Thanks for sharing some background information on you and your family. It's great to see that you are getting your kids involved in bowhunting. Like they said, "Get your kid into hunting and you won't have to hunt for your kid." We hope you'll continue to contribute and share your hunting and non-hunting adventures with us. Thanks again! Take care and Good Hunting! Best Afield, Steve

Steve,
Thanks for the welcome. I figured an introduction was in order, the only other forums I visit are Mathews and ArcheryTalk. This seems like a great site, lots of interesting Forum topics to enjoy.
My goal is to take my 9-year old up to Maine for a Bear hunt in 3 years when he's 12. Until then, he'll just play baseball, Soccer & Wrestle when he's not shooting his bow or in school!

GrayDawg (Rob): You're welcome, bud. Thanks for the compliment on the site. It took a lot of hard work to get here, but all of the B.S. that I endured is worth it now. I'm sure your son will have a blast on that bear hunt. Best of luck to him and to you on all of your future adventures together. Take care and Good Hunting! Best Afield, Steve
