I just got word the bears finally woke up where I had been.
The buddy I hunted with said they got 3 yesterday (4 guys hunting) - 2 very big blacks, and 1 small blond.
I just went too early - that's becoming my spring bear story!
I hate the idea of getting there too late - after they've been stirred up and become nocturnal. So...

No story yet. I leave 2 weeks from today. My friend is up there right now. He shot a 7' 10'' grizzly. The weather was not the greatest. Still snow on the ground. Some places it is 2 to 3 feet. One morning he woke up to a fresh 2'' of snow. I'm hoping for warmer weather while I'm there lol.
