I have found in the past, that when the full moon comes around, there is no reason to get up before the crack of dawn. You will see alot more deer if you get in the stand somewhere about 9-10 and sit until 3 or so. Especially during the rut. Hence me being on here right now.  LOL

I have always felt that morning to early afternoon is the best time to be out during the full moon phase if you can't be out from dawn to dark!

Good luck Car, I've found the best time to be in the woods is whenever you can, lol. There are a lot of missed opportunities by those who only hunt early and late, the deer will move a lot during the day, especially when in the full moon phase.

Take your water, lunch, empty bottle and "job" paper in the field with you. Stay all day and watch them beautiful critters. Harvest one if you can or must and enjoy the woods!!

Sorry guys, no deer for me. I saw one small buck this morning and 6 doe. Tonight I saw a buck with just one side of his rack chasing a doe and 4 more doe. I'm going to give it a rest for a week and hit it again.

Sorry you did not get what you was looking for but I know you had a good time setting out in the woods. I was to go this weekend but was not felling good enough to go. I will see what happens in 2 weeks. Something to remember CAR, it is not next weekend here in OHIO.
I am just about 10min from Cambridge, have to see about getting a cup of coffee some time if you would like.
