Oh, gee I meant deer season. All I saw was a doe and a fawn. Didn't go tonight the radar showed more rain on the way.

I don't mind a little rain but, it was pouring. If you watch any of the Ohio State football game you know what I mean about pouring. Got to go to the woods, its not raining lol.

Exactly what I was thinking.
Car, Don't worry about a little rain. It don't have any soap in it so it won't hurt you.

Ouch!! That was funny!!
2 more weeks till my bow season opens!
Haven't seen any bucks on my trail cam, all does. Might get a glimpse at a moose, though!! 2 towns over from me a woman took a picture of a bull moose in her backyard!!

My opener is Sat morning. I'll be in the tree by 5:30. Gots lots of deer and most of my bucks are oddballs. But they will eat good, I hope anyways. LOL

I sat tonight. Things started kinda fast. Before I even had an arrow in my bow I had 3 bucks under my tree. One bigger than the one I shot. They walked right through and passed right on by. After that nothing in close but from my tree off in the distance I seen 15 deer altogether with 6 bucks. Seen a 6 pt. bull and 7 cows this morn driving to my hunting area.

Well car,
I braved out the rain this weekend just cause I wanted to be in the woods and it payed off. Got to the stand Fri afternoon about 3:30 and had the first deer in by the stand about 5:30 then 4 more at 6:30. All bald. Wind howling and raining like a cow pi$$ing on a flat rock. Went hog doggin Fri night, 1-200lb sow and a 75lb boar. In bed by 12:30am. Sat morning brought better weather and cool with overcast skies. In the stand by 6am. Saw my first deer at 9:15 arrow in him by 9:20. Small spike. My part of deer mgmt. In the stand by 3pm Sat afternoon and that was after making a nice stalk on a forky on my feeder already. Saw what he was and said, "Nah too small". 6:30 pm brought a huge 6pt, dark choco horns, at 35yds walking away. NO shot. Listened to him for 30 min crunching acorns before he came out. In the stand by 6am again this morning in the pouring rain. Rain let up about 8am, 8:10 2 does come in, mill around for 10 min's, thought I would get busted by the second one drawing on the first. Air let out of first one at 8:20, in the truck before 9.
In the 15min's it took us to go from the first dead hog back to the truck, get the 4 wheeler and go back and get it, the yotes had ate both hams completely out of it. Got to do some predetor control soon.
