Hey car, I put in myself back in January. My first attempt at it too, but I figure, $10 is cheap for the chance. I can't wait for the draw. Good luck to you! Kent

As close as I live to KY it would not even seem like a road trip lol. I can't draw a elk tag in Wy. App several times with no luck.

My drive would be 4-5 hours depending on where I would hunt, but if I got that tag, that would be a pleasure ride! I am hoping to have to go. That would be awesome!

Yea hunting elk in KY would be a blast. It's just a little closer than driving to Colorado or Wyoming lol.

car---Where have you tried for when trying to get an elk tag in Wyoming? It is to the point now that you need to buy preference points and wait at least a year for a general tag or several years for limited quota tags out there. Two of the guys I'm going to help out there this year had 3 PPs and the other had 2 and got his tag by paying the extra money to go into the special draw (cost him over $1000 for the tag).

I have been apply in the Big Horns unit. Yes now that you can accualate points that's what I've been doing. Last year I didn't want to draw because I was going to Quebec so I just took the point. This year I'm going to BC so point only for this year. After this year I will have 3 points.
