Deer Wreaks Havoc at Alabama Health Center

5/29/2009

A young whitetail buck crashed through a window of a classroom at the Baptist Medical Center East’s Breast Health Center in Montgomery, Ala. on Wednesday morning.

Shirley Laurent, breast health manager, said the deer began thrashing around in the empty, locked room, staining the walls and carpet with blood from cuts it sustained after jumping through the window.

After the deer settled down, engineering department workers wrapped the scared deer in a tarp and set it free. The deer ran off but soon collapsed and died.

“He jumped up and ran across the street (Winton Blount Boulevard) and took his last breath,” Laurent told the Montgomery Advertiser. Animal control officers blamed the deer’s death on too much excitement from the situation.

(Pretty strange huh? Maybe he just didn't like Baptists???)

I was just being silly about the baptist comment but Orduck makes a good point it was a breast center.....
