Deer Kooler?

OK ... so Daughter #2 showed up this weekend, beside her brother bein' here ... she brang me a couple of belated Father's Day gifts ... One is sorta ... unusual? I'd never heard of such before ... It's sorta like an oversized soft bow case ... silver/reflective/insulated lining ... two "armholes" (actually leg holes) and a zipper to close it up ... Designed to put the deer inside, fill it with ice, and keep the meat frum spoilageness, especially during the warmer parts of the season ... which fits our archery season for deer, at least in Sept. and a fair bunch of October, most years ... Son #1 and I each had the same thot ... how many cases of beer could we pack in there? (more than we could carry, even with two of us liftin' together) Y'all don't wanna know whut she paid for it ... she werks in shipping/receiving/returns @ the store, and a friend of hers give her first chance @ "returns/damaged" stuff, which goes to employees, for SEVERELY DISCOUNTED prices ... this wuz a sample frum the manufacturer, so she got it REALLY cheap ... (I don't mind my kids gettin' me inexpensive stuff merely becuz they werk in neat places and qualify for discounts ... it's the same sorta stuff average folks pay 10 or 20 or 50 times as much to buy ... ) The more I think about it, the more sense it makes ... but I really sorta wonder if I'll ever do more than pack it into the Bronco and carry it along ... been a long time since I tagged a deer in T-shirt weather ...

I bet you will end up finding more uses for it if you let your imagination run wild!!!

I've already heard/seen some imaginative usageness for the item ... D#2 said "It's a Cozy!" when she gave it to me (becuz of the armholes), and youngest grandson (he'll be four next week) crawled inside and wanted to sleep inside ...

I finally remembered to search for the website for the "Trophy Bag Kooler" ... found it ... and when I clicked "how to order" it din't tell me whut I wanted to know ... i.e.: MSRP ... So, I clicked on the Sportsman's Guide link, and it popped up ... $200!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, I'm positive that y'all REALLY do NOT wanna know whut she paid for it! Here's the link to the site, so y'all can read all the propaganda ... trophybagkooler.com/TBKPage.html

Sounds like it would be perfect for Antelope hunting. It's always 75 -85Deg. when I shoot one. Gotta take it home right away and dress it. Pretty much done hunting for the day. Or in a better situation if you happen to get 3-4 in a short period you could put one in that thing and only have to get the others cut up and in the cooler. Oh look, They are bow hunting antelope on TV. How come they never come to the water holes for me like that?

Y'ALL GOT WATER HOLES IN MONTANA? HU GNU? Yeah, our goat season is also @ that warmish time of fall ... either bow or firearm seasons ... so whut y'all say, 'rik, is spot-on ... I'll hafta think about that, and mebbe even carry an extra cooler (regular type) with 5-10# of ice in it, for the recently deceassed ... (I think this "kit" with the "kooler" has some of the freezer-bag-type stuff with it ... might be handy, but when I'm three hours away frum home, the ice is prolly already melted ... so ... I'll think of sumthin' ... but the new "kooler" will definitely be in the vehicle, to cool down a freshly dispatched critter ... )
