Well guys, I'm done. Got nothing in the freezer. I seen my share, lost one to the neighbor and shot over the back of one during bow. Season's open till Jan 1 here but I'm going back home for the holidays. So my season is offically over. Congrats to all that fulfilled thier tags!! The one thing that I'm looking forward to this season is duck hunting in the fridged weather of NY. Buddies been seeing alot of bluebills, canvasbacks, scooters and buffleheads. Season opens there the day after X-mas (extra present for me!!)

I know what you mean. I did get a button buck with my bow but, I donated it to some families that needed the meat. I've still have some time but, sticking a nice buck is not looking very good. I'm holding out for a fat doe so I'll get close to 90 lb of meat.

Take your snow shovel duck. You may need it to get to the duck blind. LOLOLOLOL

That's right guys. The fridged cold of Buffalo,NY!!! Can't wait though. I've always had a great time hunting this time of year for ducks with family and freinds. I don't think anything beats that! I can remember a couple of years back we were out hunting and it was around 2degs out and with the wind and waves out on the boat it felt like it was -20. Ended up bagging our limits and had a great time. Good luck to you all thgis season and I hope you were all good boys for Santa!

Luckily here in the crooked state of Illinois we luckily have a late firearm season. I plan on doing some serious doe hunting since thats all you can shoot.

I got a doe in the freezer, Duck. I'm gonna try for another with the "late" ending season for Westchester County (12/31), but I'll leave all that COLD weather hunting to you!! I'll be huddled around my woodstove wishing you luck!
