Coyote Population outa control - Friday, August 07, 2009 10:36 AM ( #1 )
At night sounds like a thousand in my pastures yodeling.
During haying I had at least 2 coyotes per field following baler picking off mice being exposed. Thankfully DNR are now letting nonresidents harvest coyotes with big game tags.
Weird thing is no mange yet...it mostly cuts them back when populations get outa hand.

We've been seein' a bit of mange in some of the critters around here, Monty ... mebbe if y'all swing by here to shoot @ fessunts, y'all can take some home with you? (Har?)

We have similar problems here in New York and New Jersey of all places. They are everywhere. I call in a lot of yotes while Turkey hunting in the Spring.
The freshest tracks still have feet in them.

I'd volunteer to ride shotgun on the baler!
