Charity Hunt in Alabama - Friday, December 11, 2009 8:00 PM ( #1 )
Is anyone else going to Alabama in January for the charity deer hunt that is being sponsored by the Montgomery Lions Club??   Or maybe someone has been in the past??  Just wondering how they do things. It seems like a really good time.

I have family in Bama...but way up north near Huntsville.   Post up some info...might be willing to take a ride if time allows.
Love playing that string music and sending a Muzzy flying!

Ok guys here's the link for the web site....  It it sponsored by the Montgomery Lions Club and the proceeds go to various charities in their community. Myself and the guy that killed the big buck that I have posted the pictures of is going. And we are meeting up with another friend of mine on the way down in Chattanooga Tn. It sounds like a pretty good time. They give away some really good door prizes including a couple of deer rifles.  I think the time to register lasts through the end of December.  Not sure how many hunters they take but they have 25,000 acres that is leased for this event. I don't think we'll kill a booner down there but it sounds like a great way to spend some time in January.   Check it out.......
