Bowstrings - Friday, March 20, 2009 4:10 PM ( #1 )
I switched over to Winner's Choice bowstrings last year, mainly because the owner and my father used to work in a sawmill together, but was wondering what everyones thoughts were on the whole "pre-stretch/no-stretch" strings? Do they last as long? Are they as good as the manufacturer says?

ko- as far as I know and understand is that all bow strings stretch, period.
Some my just do it faster than others but I believe they all do over time and use.
That's my opinion, I could be wrong but we'll see what others say.
Good hunting

I switched my strings from the originals to Winners Choice string. I have had great luck with them and get no stretch. I use a stringsplitter peep and it uses no tubing to hold it true when drawing and have never had to pre-twist it before shooting. Straight on everytime.

Once I did "set" my peep in the string it has never twisted, I also shoot tube-less. I have zero complaints so far. Hopefully it stays that way. Just figured I'd poll everyone to see what to excpect in the future.

I'm sticking to Winners Choice myself.
