The show was much smaller than last year. I guess the bad economy has hit everyone. However the show was just as fun and informative as ever. Got to sit in on the "Muzzy Hunting Camp" with the Bone Collector boys both Saturday and Sunday. Why did I go two days in a row to a smaller than normal show? I ran into a guy who saw my Muzzy hat and he said "That is a nice hat!" I saw he was a Muzzy Rep from his vendor badge. I told him "Thanks for sending it to me." I got the hat for sending in my father's Muzzy Moment on our caribou trip to Canada a few years ago. (If you want to see it go to muzzy.com and look on page 3 of the Muzzy Moments section. My Dad is Don Jones. ) Anyway we started talking and spoke for about a half hour before the hunting camp. Being a sound man myself we started talking equipment and such after the camp. I went back today and hung with my new buddy Dave Foster and even got to help him break down his sound stuff and the Muzzy 200+ club bucks setup. That was really cool getting to put my hands on 8 bucks with that size of racks. I even got to hold the horns from the "Dave Jones Buck" harvested in Illinois in 2003. It has a net score of 267 1/8. I just wish it could have really been mine. Hehe!

I did get to meet the Bone Collector Boys. Nick, Mike, Travis and Mike's dad are 4 of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet. Even when everyone was gone and we were all breaking stuff down, they stayed true to form. They were not just playing nice-nice to the crowds and being jerks after. Super attitudes and some down to earth guys!!!! If you get to meet them you will be as impressed as I was.

Nice Dave, looks like you had a good time.
