I read alot of the letters in the outfitters albums and was really dissappointed in alot of them. A majority of them all stated that it was not quite the quality of hunting they were expecting, meaning the bears were smaller than they expected. That is the main reason I added that statement at the end of my last post. The lodge, food, service were all top notch and the guides did all they could to get the guys on bears, even though small, they saw bears. All I ever ask for is the opportunity to see one and get a shot. If I fail or take an inferior one, that is on me. I don't sit and gripe about it, it was my call. They should have been more greatful for what they got for the overall service. The animals are just bonuses as far as I'm concerned. Spruce Mountain Outfitters did a great job and I will definately go back. And yes, my expectations are still high for a good bear, you just never know what will walk out.
