Is there some button I can push that will just keep reposting the same thing? More snow again. I think it's supposed to end today though. Luckily it melts almost as fast as it falls.

Well, Monty got the word from the float plane base that it will only be a couple more days before he'll be able to get into "the bush" and start baiting. The bay at the float plane base is open so the planes will be able to take off and land. Now it's just a matter of time before the ice recedes enough off of the lakes that harbor Monty's bear camps and the goodies will be delivered to the bears. Good news! Take care and Good Hunting! Best Afield, Steve

Gary: Thanks bud. I leave for Saskatchewan in 11 days. I just talked to Mike Wooward of Woodland Outfitting Company and he said the bears were out already and feeding fairly well. I'll arrive on the 17th and hunt from the 18th through 23rd with Mike. I'll then drive over to Manitoba and hop on a float plane with "Topgun 3006" and hunt bear for another week. I'll get to experience the best of both worlds; hunting from a comfortable lodge in Saskatchewan and then hunting in a vast wilderness setting in Manitoba from a tent. It should be two weeks of bear hunting Heaven, and fishing! Take care and Good Hunting! Best Afield, Steve

I talked to the outfitter over the weekend and he said, that there was still 4ft of packed snow in the higher elevations but, it was starting to melt.
